Fluffy Butts

If you're new to cloth diapering, you better get on the bandwagon. Not only are they environmentally friendly, but they're also baby booty friendly as well. And contrary to popular belief, they do not have to be expensive. I have spend approximately $70 dollars on diapers, period.

I recommend an AIO Pocket Diaper (All in One). This simply means that the diaper comes with a liner stuffed in a pocket. They are easy to wash, and easy to re-stuff. A lot of people turn up their noses at the so-called "China Cheapies," aka "Baby City," "Baby Land," "NoNo Baby's," (approx. $2.00) but they have worked perfectly for my son and I since he was a newborn. He is now 7 months old and can still wear the same ones I bought before he was born.
Since then, I have ordered Alva's which are a little more expensive ($5.59). I love Alva's too. Unlike the China Cheapies, they come in super cute patterns and run a little bit bigger so I won't have to worry about my Chunkie's ever-expanding booty.

My kid just loves laundry day. Here he is, playing his piano while I fold his diapies. Solid colors are China Cheapies, patterned are Alva's. Not all pictured.
